Perhaps
more than ever, the 2014's FIFA comes down to little details. If anyone
played last season game, then visuals, game modes, also on-pitch action
& means of the interaction will be immediately familiar. As result,
learning curve in the FIFA 15 is almost nonexistent. What is different
is degree of style & elegance with everything is executed, by
giving game a sense of the refinement which was lacking last season. If
the last year game was skeleton of what actually FIFA wanted to achieve
over course of console generation, then the consider FIFA 15 first
layer of meat on the top of that.
Nowhere is it more
obvious than the with goalkeepers, whose animations is new that make
them instantly lifelike in the terms of both look & behavior. There
movements are much more diverse, which allowing skillful players to
perform range of the spectacular gymnastics in effort to keep ball out
of goal. More importantly, movements hint at keeper's basic thought the
processes, which does great deal to the humanise keepers & shake
that feeling of play against pre-programmed machine.
If
you are on goal & one-on-one with keeper, it is not uncommon to see
him as initially rush out from between posts and attack, the only to
decide that it is bad idea & hightail it back to the line.
Similarly, running out from goal to punch / catch ball from corner
results in lots of the backtracking when keeper realizes that either
friendly defender / opposition attacker going to get to it first.
While
this actions create seemingly dynamic environment in where players act
& interact with each other on absence of your direct input, and they
have little effect on outcome of match. There is a slight improvement
in keeper's ability to save the long strikes, but still they tend to
concede same percentage of shots as the last season. The overall impact
on game-play has been balanced in as such a way so as its not to disrupt
established difficulty of the netting a goal.
